Can You Change The Way You “See” Your Acne?

My self-esteem had always been low. I always felt so insecure about my appearance but it spilled over into every other area of my life.

As a result of how I felt about myself I got jobs that were low-paying and well below my skills. Do you feel the same about yourself because of your acne?

You pretty much have to be a super-human not to be emotionally effected in some way by your acne challenge.

But know you are not alone! At least 75% of the people you meet have at one time in their life struggled with acne to some degree or another. They all carry some form of emotional scars to this day.

Even so many of the celebrities and movie stars that you think look perfect, without makeup you’d be shocked of how they look, particularly their skin.

Remember this though: your acne is not who you really are.

Same thing about your car. It doesn’t define who you really are. So basically, nothing is wrong with you even if you have acne. Can you believe that?

What I’m trying to say is that you have to see your acne as a temporary challenge to be met. That’s all it really is. That will make you feel much more empowered.

Making that shift alone helped me tremendously so I hope and pray it will have the same effect on you.

How you view yourself, everyone else you meet will unconsciously pickup on and treat you accordingly. Any insecurities you’re holding others will unconsciously pickup on.

This means that once you “see” yourself differently the whole world will also “see” and even “treat” you differently.

No one has to suffer from acne. However, while you face this challenge you may as well rise up to meet the challenge at all levels, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically, rather then “cringe” from it.
